Gerlach Baas (van Beinum) - ceramic box with blockdecor
Gerlach Baas (van Beinum) has built this ceramic box from slabs of red firing chamotte clay, around 1987, stoneware. At the top the lid is fully integrated in the block decoration. On selected places two various colored engobes are applied. In the glaze (Nepheline Syenite glazuur) melting pellets are used. The box has been fired on a temperature of 1250 degrees C.
