Inke Lerch-Brodersen did a study in decoration between 1963 and 1966. Between 1966 and 1971 she joined the Werkkunstschule in Kiel, department Ceramics with teacher Johannes Gebhardt. Since 1971 she started her own workshop, together with her husband Uwe Lerch.
